The Rectory, Cheshire
This stunning and eclectic private home in the small village of Astbury, features our vivid ‘Corfu’ sea blue handmade encaustic cement tile. Consisting of four different star design patterns in Corfu blue with Milk Stars, the installation took 2 weeks following a strict detailed design to create the desired pattern flow of decors
This private home is located in the small village of Astbury. This beautiful Palladian building dates back to 18th century and is a Grade II* building. It has been altered on a number of occasions, with significant modifications made in the 19th century and again in the mid-20th century, when the original house was subdivided into two.
Within the kitchen area we supplied ‘Svenska’ from Vives in the cloud blue and white combination to create a diamond effect pattern through out. This tile lends its self to the encaustic cement effect, creating a beautiful transition in from the bold ‘Hex Star’ tile to this more subtle tile.
